  • Wool is antimicrobial and resistant to rot, but it's not invulnerable. To reduce the risk of fading or mildew growth it's best to display all felt sculpture pieces in cool dry places. Direct sunlight can fade the colors of the felt as well as causing moisture to bead on the inside of the glass domes. If this happens simply remove the dome and allow it to air dry, then return it to a display spot outside of direct sunlight. It's recommended to keep these pieces within their domes to protect them from dust, damage, or unwanted attention from moths and other pests.
